Web Conferencing and Forge Service @ OSOR.EU

The Open Source Observatory provides a new conferencing service

forge.OSOR.eu welcomes projects that are initiated by public administrations or companies and could be downloaded and used everywhere, if they may be also useful to public administrations in Europe.

A brand new service has been launched now to provide their users yet another tool to better collaborate and share project ideas, solutions and exchange experiences.

This service is based on the Open Source version of Dim Dim, a powerful and very easy to use web conference tool.

With this service you will  have finally the possibility organize virtual workshops, conferences where you can  talk to your audience and discuss issues, problems and successes without spending a cent.

The OSOR web conferencing system will provide you the following functionalities:

  • Share Documents. Users can share PowerPoints, PDFs, white boards, web pages, even your entire computer screen.

Share resources for the meeting

  • Hear and See. See the presenter’s live video and share your presentation among other people. Hosts can pass the microphone or web cam around with a single click.

Hear and see

  • Big Meeting. Large meetings are no problem anymore.

Big meeting

The service will be provided as is and it is still in Beta version, but in order to provide our users with a good quality service we will allow only one web conference at the time with a maximum number of attendees each time.

You first need to register at OSOR.eu.

You can reserve your web conference filling out the following form.

Before starting a web conference we advise all of you to have a look at the User Guide in order to better experience the service.
