What other people in the creative sector think about osAlliance's co-operative structure

--

Roland,

A real pleasure to make your acquaintance.  Your website is absolutely thrilling.
...
I am finding the current business environment difficult at best.  We have a large group of individuals ready to cooperate.  We need to form a structure, a container in which to do so.

The information on your website is absolutely amazing.  It's my hope that I can learn from what you've published more about the ways that our group can
develop processes that will serve members and clients alike.

Our group is at the stage where we are ready to jump into shared office space together but we haven't answered a lot of the questions about asset ownership and development, revenue sharing, and classes of ownership.

My hope is that the legalities of coops in the US are similar enough that we will be able to benefit from you experience.

For more detail, I'll say that while we are not strictly an Open Source collective, I specialize and work exclusively in Drupal, as does my partner
Victor.  The group is a collection of designers and web developers who have worked together in various ways for 4 years, and we are looking to provide a better value offering for the town we call home and to engage in larger projects as a collective on the national level.

Thank you for putting so much good information on your website.  And thank you Michel for introducing us.  I look forward to our further conversation.

Sincerely,

--
Alex Rollin
